For more than 50 years, Atchison Trucks have provided the Central Coast with reliable truck and bus sales, maintenance and repairs. Our focus is on time conscious, high-quality repairs, servicing and maintenance.

We are a family operated business. As an independent mechanical workshop, we are able to work on our schedule with our own pricing, keeping things fair.

Our Story

In 1974, Robert Atchison saw the demand for a truck repairer on the Central Coast being the center of two cities, Newcastle and Sydney. He started it up with himself working long, hard hours as the demand was clearly there for the area.

Moving a few years down the line to 1976, truck sales was a market Robert saw opportunity in on the coast becoming the Central Coast's only Daimler Dealer.

In 1982, he expanded into parts supply. This is where Fleet Parts started. Separated into two sections, workshop and parts department, business was booming. Gradually employing staff to help the workload which had outgrown the one-man-job this all began as. Now being a fully self-sufficient dealership with the three crucial aspects; parts, sales and service.

As for today, we are a family operated business growing Roberts legacy. With sales of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso, Fleet Parts and service, the demand is still there as it was 50 years ago.
